CNC Machinist in Coventry, working hours are 18:00pm – 04:30am with overtime available. The pay ranges from £22.00 to £25.00 per hour, including shift allowance.
Due to continued growth, MNB Precision is recruiting for CNC Machinists to join the business. Established over 30 years ago, MNB Precision is a medium-sized company specialising in world-class CNC Precision Engineering, primarily serving the Oil & Gas Industry.
As a specialist engineering company, we have developed a reputation for tackling difficult parts in exotic materials. Our machine shop works with materials such as Inconel, Beryllium, Copper, and a range of non-magnetic stainless steels. We offer a variety of precision engineering services, consistently machining components that range from several metres in length to those with very tight tolerances.
Role responsibilities:- Setting and operating various CNC machines including Doosan, Mazak, Hartford, and SMX using Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Mazak control systems.
- Working with exotic metals such as Inconel and Duplex to assist in the production of Oil & Gas components.
- Inspecting your own work using various measurement equipment including verniers and calipers.
- An experienced Machinist with a solid background in setting and operating CNC machines such as Mazak, Doosan, Hartford, and SMX.
- Experience working with exotic metals including Inconel and Duplex, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Previous experience working to tight tolerances and machining large parts (up to 7 metres).
- Experience quality checking your own work and using various measurement equipment including verniers and calipers.
