The Role
The CNC Miller vacancy is a hands-on CNC role for an experienced machinist who enjoys technical, low-volume/high-value work. For the role of CNC Machinist, you will:
- Set and operate CNC Milling machines including 3, 4 & 5 Axis Machines, ideally Mazak.
- You will be working with Fanuc and Heidenhain control systems.
- Work from engineering drawings to tight tolerances.
- Inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality standards.
- Work as part of a skilled, supportive shopfloor team.

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision manufacturing business.
- Experience with Fanuc/Heidenhain controls.
- Experience machining large components (MNB Precision have anything up to 8 metres in length x 800mm diameter).
- Experience working with exotic materials including Inconel or Duplex.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings as well as GD&T symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality.
- A reliable, team-focused approach is required for the CNC Miller role.
