Fitter Supervisor Coventry, CV4 08:30am 17:00pm Mon Fri Salary: 18.00 - 19.00 per hour Job Purpose The Fitter Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting a small team of Fitters while remaining actively involved in day-to-day fitting activities. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong technical skills, leadership, and a commitment to quality, safety and productivity. The successful candidate will ensure components are assembled, finished, deburred and inspected to the required standards while driving continuous improvement and maintaining an efficient workflow. Key Responsibilities Supervisory Duties * Supervise, motivate and support a small team of Bench Fitters. * Allocate daily work and monitor progress to meet production schedules. * Provide training, coaching and technical guidance to team members. * Monitor quality of work and ensure company standards are consistently achieved. * Promote a positive, safe and productive working environment. * Liaise with Production, Quality, Engineering and Stores departments to ensure smooth workflow. * Assist in resolving production issues and implementing process improvements.
