Position Overview
This is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading commercial cleaning companies in London and work as a bid manager/writer in an established firm. Your role in the company will be to research tender platforms, develop bid libraries and write high-scoring bids for the private and public sector tenders. The successful candidate will join a close-knit, highly motivated and supportive team based at our head office in London (W10 4BQ).
Your Responsibilities
- Research tender platforms, develop bid libraries and write high-scoring bids for private and public sector tenders.
- Submit responses before tender deadlines and manage bid libraries.
- Collaborate with directors, subject matter experts and proposal designers to create high-impact submissions that respond to tender requirements.
- Ensure written responses are professional, persuasive, bespoke and align with the brand’s voice.
Your Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience writing bids for private and public sector tenders with a proven track record of successful bids.
- Experience and/or understanding of the cleaning industry (preferred).
- Expert, up-to-date knowledge of bid writing and bidding frameworks and platforms (e.g. Central Digital Platform, Delta eSourcing, etc.).
- Skilled in conducting deep research to develop bid libraries.
- High level of working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including templates.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional writing, proofreading and editing skills (Business/Corporate English).
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Your Qualifications
- APMP qualification or similar is desirable.
- A university degree in a relevant field is desirable.
