We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial and Sport Underwriting team at Victor Insurance UK. This role will be based in Witham and is a hybrid role.
Victor and its businesses operate as Managing General Agency (MGA), offering a wide range of commercial combined, property, liability, motor and specialty insurance products in the UK. This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious individual looking for an opportunity to join a market leading MGA.
We will count on you to:
- Manage and maintain relationships with regional brokers, colleagues and clients across the UK.
- Work with the Commercial and Sport (specialising in Golf Masters) team to help underwrite business and develop successful and meaningful relationships.
- Identify opportunities to offer solutions to existing client/broker (in the UK) accounts by evaluating applicant situation and circumstances and determining insurance risk.
- Work within your delegated underwriting authority to underwrite both new and existing business.
- Communicate effectively with senior members of staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships across the business.
- Put our clients and customers first by working within SLAs and ensuring a high level of service is provided at all times.
- Liaise with brokers and colleagues to increase profitable relationships both virtually and in person.
- Issue insurance policies by calculating premium rates as well as negotiating insurance terms and conditions with regional brokers.

- Commercial Combined Insurance experience.
- Experience using digital trading platforms.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
