Job Description:
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will be responsible for visiting clients in their homes and assisting them with daily tasks to improve their quality of life. This is a door-to-door service role, meaning you will travel between clients\' homes throughout your working day. Your duties will include:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Helping with mobility and encouraging exercises as required.
- Preparing and serving meals, as well as assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Running errands, including shopping and collecting prescriptions.
- Keeping accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients\' conditions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but full training will be provided to the right candidates.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
- We do not sponsor visas, so candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS check (we can assist with this process).
Please Note:
- This role does not include paid holidays or a pension scheme.
- The position involves travelling between clients\' homes, and mileage will not be reimbursed.
