We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supported Accommodation Registered Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across our supported accommodation homes for young adults and care leavers in London. This is a senior, hands-on role requiring exceptional standards, strong regulatory knowledge, and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Operational Management
- Provide strong, visible leadership across multiple supported accommodation homes
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth, safe, and effective service delivery
- Maintain full compliance with Ofsted Supported Accommodation regulations and quality standards
- Safeguarding, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure robust safeguarding practices and risk management across all properties
- Lead on health & safety, incident management, and regulatory reporting
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality assurance checks
- Continuously improve policies, procedures, and service delivery frameworks
- Staff Management & Development
- Manage, supervise, and develop care and support teams
- Lead on staff training, supervision, and professional development
- Promote a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture
- Young People's Support & Outcomes
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred support
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for young adults and care leavers
- Oversee support plans, risk assessments, and pathway planning
- Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, commissioners, and external partners
- Represent the service professionally in meetings, reviews, and inspections
- Finance & Resource Management
- Manage budgets, staffing levels, and operational efficiency
- Ensure resources are used effectively to maintain high standards of care
Requirements
- Fully Ofsted-registered Supported Accommodation Manager (mandatory)
- Minimum 2-3 years' management experience in supported accommodation, semi-independent living, or similar settings
- Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and relevant legislation
- Proven track record of managing supported housing services for young adults or care leavers
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively
