Service Manager
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead a team delivering high-quality responsive repairs and maintenance services.
You will be responsible for driving productivity, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of repairs operatives.
- Manage productivity, quality, and performance through inspections and site visits.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complex service issues.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and health & safety checks.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Promote safeguarding and ensure concerns are properly reported.
Requirements
- Experience managing operational teams within repairs, maintenance, or construction.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety legislation.
- Experience managing subcontractors and service delivery performance.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience using repairs management systems and performance data.
Desirable
- Social housing or property maintenance experience.
- IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
