Job Title: Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative Location: East London & Essex Sector: Social Housing Job Type: Temporary (2-3 moths) Hourly Rate: £22.00ph – £24.00ph (Umbrella Rate) Overview: We are looking for a reliable Non-Licensed Asbestos Removal Operative to join a property and facilities group based in the East London region. You will be responsible for the safe removal of non-licensed asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from residential properties, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations. Responsibilities: Safely remove non-licensed ACMs such as ceiling tiles and floor tiles. Adhere to health and safety protocols and use PPE at all times. Prepare work areas and clean up post-removal. Complete required documentation and report progress. Collaborate with team members and contractors for smooth project execution. Participate in ongoing training and development. Requirements: Previous experience in asbestos removal (non-licensed) preferred. Asbestos Awareness Certification (required). Knowledge of health and safety regulations (Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012). Good physical fitness and the ability to work in confined spaces. Strong communication skills and attention to detail
