Location: Manchester
Pay Rate: £19.77 per hour

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our social housing maintenance team covering Manchester. This role involves completing high-quality plastering repairs, refurbishment work, and planned maintenance across occupied and void residential properties. You will help ensure homes are safe, comfortable, and maintained to an excellent standard for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering works including skimming, bonding, patch repairs, boarding, and finishing.
- Diagnose and complete responsive repairs within tenants' homes.
- Prepare surfaces, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and ready for finishing.
- Work on void property refurbishments as part of planned maintenance programmes.
- Ensure all work meets quality and health & safety standards.
- Work respectfully and professionally in occupied properties with minimal disruption to tenants.
- Record completed work accurately using job management systems or paperwork.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standard.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plasterer-ideally within social housing or domestic repair environments.
- Strong knowledge of plastering techniques, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence (van provided).
- NVQ Level 2 in Plastering or City & Guilds level 2.
- Understanding of health & safety practices in residential settings.
