Pay Rate: (CIS or Umbrella)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute break)

Overview

MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a Social Housing contractor. The role involves carrying out a wide range of repair and maintenance works within both occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
  • Complete a variety of multi-trade tasks, including associated repair works.
  • Work within both occupied and void properties.
  • Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
  • Accurately record job details and update progress using the provided PDA system.
  • Work effectively to meet productivity targets and tight deadlines.Requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
  • Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative carrying out a range of maintenance and repair works.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and work to deadlines.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Recognised trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Asbestos Awareness certification (can be completed prior to the start date).
  • Basic DBS Check.
