Overview
MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a Social Housing contractor. The role involves carrying out a wide range of repair and maintenance works within both occupied and void properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance across social housing properties.
- Complete a variety of multi-trade tasks, including associated repair works.
- Work within both occupied and void properties.
- Deliver a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
- Accurately record job details and update progress using the provided PDA system.
- Work effectively to meet productivity targets and tight deadlines.Requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
- Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative carrying out a range of maintenance and repair works.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload independently and work to deadlines.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).
Mandatory Qualifications
- Recognised trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Asbestos Awareness certification (can be completed prior to the start date).
- Basic DBS Check.
