Rate: £22 CIS Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute break) MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Plasterer to join a Social Housing contractor.
The successful candidate will carry out repairs and maintenance works across both occupied and void properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plastering repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
- Complete associated repair works as required.
- Deliver excellent customer service when working in residents' homes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Work towards agreed deadlines and productivity targets.
- Accurately update job information using the provided PDA system. Requirements
- Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
- Strong plastering skills with the ability to carry out a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points). Essential Qualifications
- Recognised trade qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Asbestos Awareness certification (can be completed prior to the start date).
