Interim Property Surveyor

MMP is working with one of our Housing Association clients in Essex who are seeking a Property Surveyor to join the business with immediate effect. The successful candidate must have strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Damp & Mould. Role Details Position: Property Surveyor Location: Essex Rate: £36.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Carry out pre-inspections, building and stock condition surveys to identify defects and future investment requirements, including the preparation of detailed reports, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure appropriate remedial works are undertaken. Ensure all planned, cyclical, and responsive repair works are valid, appropriate, and provide value for money, while being delivered within allocated budget provisions. This includes effective contract administration, timely processing of variations, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining all relevant contract documentation. Undertake post-inspections of completed works to ensure quality, compliance with the Schedule of Rates, statutory requirements, and contractual terms, while driving contractor performance to achieve KPI targets and budget control. Support the delivery of internal policies, procedures, and service agreements, actively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance value for money and resident satisfaction
