MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Fire Manager for a permanent opportunity based in Central London. This role offers a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum and is based on-site, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead advisor on all health, safety and fire-related matters across the organisation.
- Develop, implement and monitor health, safety and fire management systems and controls.
- Identify, assess and mitigate health and safety risks across operational and clinical environments.
- Conduct audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and best practice.
- Lead on fire safety compliance and manage actions arising from fire risk assessments.
- Produce health and safety dashboards, reports and annual performance reports.
- Coordinate and manage external inspections, audits and regulatory reviews.
- Maintain compliance evidence and documentation to support statutory obligations.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver health, safety and fire training to employees and stakeholders.
- Work closely with senior management to support business continuity and compliance objectives.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture across all sites.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a Health and Safety Manager position.
- Experience operating within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and fire legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience carrying out audits, inspections and compliance monitoring activities.
- Strong analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience producing management reports, dashboards and performance information.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver health and safety training programmes.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- NEBOSH Diploma or currently working towards completion
