This role requires the successful individual to attend the office a minimum of two days per week. This is a fast‑paced role suited to a senior property professional who can deliver effectively from day one, supporting estates management activity, property transactions, and capital projects while ensuring full compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.
The Property and Projects service is seeking an experienced Principal Surveyor to provide senior professional support across a diverse property portfolio and a range of live capital projects. You will deliver high‑quality professional advice to senior officers and elected members, support service continuity, manage complex caseloads, and contribute to reporting and decision‑making processes. The role also involves preparing basic specifications for repair works and providing leadership within the team, including deputising for the Property and Projects Manager when required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior professional surveying support across property, estates, and capital project activity
