MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit an Asset Officer on a Temporary basis, based in Essex.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Help to deliver the objectives set out in the Asset Management Strategy.
  • Provide an effective and responsive service to the residents relating to all asset management functions including the collection, collation and maintenance of stock attribute and condition information.
  • Provide detailed information in relation to all aspects of the asset management data.
  • Ensure the asset database is up to date, fully populated with all assets, is reconciled to the housing management system and regularly maintained.
  • Support the delivery of the new build and stock reinvestment programmes through the provision of accurate and timely stock and property information.
  • Provide information and reports as required to support the Housing department's and Corporate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience or equivalent.
  • Experience liaising with Councillors and Stakeholders.
  • Being competent and confident in decision making and aware of Human Resources process and procedures.
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycles and stock condition.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships and collaborate with others to achieve outcomes.
