MMP Consultancy are seeking an experienced Housing Manager in West London on a temporary basis. This role will provide essential cover within the housing management team, ensuring the continued delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused service across a designated patch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of properties across West London, acting as the main point of contact for residents
- Handle anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, ensuring appropriate action is taken in line with policies and procedures
- Conduct regular estate inspections to maintain high standards and identify any health & safety concerns
- Ensure compliance actions linked to fire risk assessments and other safety requirements are completed
- Support new tenancy processes, including sign-ups, in partnership with the Allocations Team
- Carry out tenancy and rent-related visits, working alongside the Income Team where required
- Respond to and resolve customer enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve resident engagement and overall customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all casework is up to date and compliant
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Housing Management or similar role within social housing
- Strong knowledge of tenancy management, ASB, and housing legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload independently and prioritise effectively
- Experience of working in a customer-focused environment
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel across the patch)
