MMP Consultancy is currently seeking a Fire Risk Assessor for an interim contract paying £350 – £400 covering Southeast London. Details Title: Fire Risk Assessor Rate: £350 – £400 per day Contract: Interim Hours: Full Time Location: Southeast London As a key member of our team, you\’ll play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our buildings, projects, and residents. We\’re seeking a qualified Fire Risk Officer to join our team, responsible for conducting fire risk assessments, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the development of processes and policies. Essential Skills: Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) Experience in assessing fire risks in complex social housing tenanted blocks Strong knowledge of Fire Safety principles in purpose-built blocks of flats Familiarity with BS 9999, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) 2005, and PAS 79 Understanding of contract law, statutory regulations, and British standards Desirable Skills: Surveying or building experience Ability to supervise and support a team of staff and contractors Strong planning and management skills
