I am currently looking for an Estates Services Manager on a contract basis for a housing provider based in Tower Hamlets. My client is looking for an immediately available Estates Services Manager.
Pay Rate:
£25.00ph (umbrella rate)
Hours:
Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
You will be required to:
- Have operational responsibility for management and delivery of estates services delivered by the In-house Mobile Estates Cleaning Team and by external contractors.
- Oversee estates services including cleaning, caretaking, grounds maintenance, refuse, concierge services, external window cleaning, tree management, parking and pest control services provided to tenants and leaseholders, and maintain cleanliness of community centres and offices owned by the housing association.
- Be responsible for setting and managing the service charge budgets and ensuring value for money for all residents.
- Manage all aspects of contract management for externally procured estates services and service charges, ensuring effective business continuity arrangements are in place.
- Ensure responsibility for health and safety and fleet management.
- Be a natural leader who is people and outcome focused, managing teams to drive strong performance and foster a culture of continual learning while putting residents at the heart of the service.
- Have a strong understanding of building safety and fire-risk assessments, ensuring that buildings are kept safe and in line with safety guidelines.
- Manage all aspects of Service Charge management, contracts management, estate management, and facilities management.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally, ensuring accuracy of data and compliance with leases and tenancy agreements.
- Be passionate about shaping service delivery, motivating teams through change, and improving services.
You will be required to be in the office for three days per week, with the remaining time being able to work remotely, subject to THCH requirements.
