We are seeking a Building Surveyor (Damp & Mould) on a 12‑month temporary basis. Please note that this role requires the successful candidate to be on site a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
Job Purpose
We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to lead on damp, mould and condensation diagnostics across residential properties. You will carry out detailed inspections, identify root causes, and produce clear technical reports and recommendations.
The role includes specifying and overseeing remedial works, ensuring high‑quality delivery through effective contractor management. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with residents, keeping them informed and supported throughout each case.
With strong knowledge of housing standards, building pathology and regulatory requirements, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and contributing to long‑term improvements that help keep homes safe, healthy and sustainable.
