MMP Consultancy is currently seeking a Damp and Mould Surveyor for an interim contract paying £35per hour (neg.), covering Southeast London.\\n\\nDetails\\n\\nTitle: Damp and Mould Surveyor\\n Rate: £35 – £40 per hour (Experience dependant)\\n Contract: 3 months\\n Hours: Full Time\\n Location: Southeast London\\n\\nKey Requirements & Responsibilities\\n\\n* Proven experience handling damp and mould cases\\n * Ability to produce CPR35 Reports identifying causes and remedial actions\\n * Familiarity with SORS (Schedule of Rates)\\n * Skilled in diagnosing complex repair issues in collaboration with internal teams and external contractors\\n * Strong working knowledge of Awaab's Law and relevant housing regulations\\n * Experience managing contracts, budgets, and inspections (pre & post)\\n * Handling resident complaints with professionalism and sensitivity\\n * Engaging effectively with tenants and other stakeholders\\n\\nTechnical Inspections Involve:\\n\\n* Identifying damp types: penetrating, rising, and condensation\\n * Spotting mould growth and related ventilation/structural issues\\n * Using tools such as moisture meters, hygrometers, thermal imaging cameras, and borescopes\\n * Accurately diagnosing root causes including leaks, poor insulation, and inadequate ventilation\\n\\nApply for more details
