MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to work for a National Contractor based in South London.
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of works programmes. Working closely with Contract Managers you will assist in resident consultation and involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Attend Resident Surgeries and assist vulnerable people reporting repairs, keep residents and scheme managers up to date on progress.
- Organise consultation events and attend meetings as required.
- Identify vulnerabilities relating to individual residents and liaise with client's housing officers or support services where necessary. Work with our Performance Team to ensure identified vulnerabilities are accurately recorded within the organisation's systems.
- Investigate, register all complaints and report in accordance with company and client procedures. Ensure all MP, Councillor enquiries and complaints are investigated and resolved efficiently and within target, advising residents and clients of their outcomes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Present previous experience of working within Social Housing or Local Authority.
- Resident Liaison/Community Engagement capacity.
- Experience of supporting planned works programmes.
- Experience of handling challenging and complex situations.
- An effective communicator at all levels, you will be able to work proactively and independently to deliver on tight timescales.
