MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter to join a Social Housing contractor covering on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will carry out repairs and maintenance works across both occupied and void properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
- Complete associated multi-trade works as required.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach when working in residents' homes.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
- Accurately update job information using the provided PDA system.
- Work effectively to meet tight deadlines and performance targets.
- Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).
- Recognised Carpentry qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Asbestos Awareness certification (can be completed before the start date).
- Basic DBS Check.
