Location: CR

Contract: Pay Rate: £22 CIS

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute break)

MMP is currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Carpenter to join a Social Housing contractor covering on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will carry out repairs and maintenance works across both occupied and void properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out carpentry repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties.
  • Complete associated multi-trade works as required.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach when working in residents' homes.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.
  • Accurately update job information using the provided PDA system.
  • Work effectively to meet tight deadlines and performance targets.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within the social housing sector.
  • Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).
Essential Qualifications
  • Recognised Carpentry qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Asbestos Awareness certification (can be completed before the start date).
  • Basic DBS Check.
