We are recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse Assistant to join a busy Housing Association in Essex, supporting maintenance and operational teams across the region.
Key Duties
- Deliver and collect materials, tools, and equipment across multiple sites
- Support warehouse operations and maintain stock levels
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Remove and dispose of waste in line with company procedures
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, collections, and stock movements
- Assist with basic preparation and warehouse duties
- Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are safe, compliant, and well-maintained
- Maintain high standards within the warehouse and storage areas
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (suitable for driving a Vauxhall E-Vivaro and Ford Transit)
- Experience within a warehouse, maintenance, facilities, or similar environment
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Basic IT skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
Desirable
- Social Housing experience
- Joinery or Carpentry experience
Additional Information
- Based in Chelmsford, with travel across Essex as required
- Interviews can be conducted face-to-face or via Microsoft Teams, with face-to-face preferred
