MMP Consultancy are looking to recruit a Repairs Planner on a Temporary Basis in North West London. Umbrella Rate: £19.85 Per Hour
Main Responsibilities
- Planning repairs works for pre and post inspection, reactive and emergency repairs.
- Prioritising emergency works.
- Booking appointments and allocating works to the available operatives and following works from start through to completion.
- Ensuring all relevant data is updated on a timely basis.
- Liaising with tenants and operatives to arrange repairs.
- Effectively communicate concerns about work quality and ensuring operatives have the right material to complete their work.
- Participation in meetings, supervision, and training as requested by the manager.
Experience Required
- Previous experience of working with a Housing Association / Local Authority or contractor in a Planning, Scheduling or Customer Service capacity.
- Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
- GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English.
- Proficient IT skills including use of Microsoft Excel and Word; proven background in a customer service focused environment.
- Experience of using database systems (Connect, Northgate, DRS).

- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

- Processing works orders, completions, process for payments or inspection requests in accordance with policies and procedures and responding to general queries regarding proposed and confirmed works.
- Assist in providing information for the database for Stock Condition, Asbestos, Fire Risk Assessment and any other areas as required.
- Sound judgement and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines, under pressure and deliver projects on time, within budget to the required standard.
