Our client is a well-established and growing electrical contractor operating across London and the South East. They deliver a wide range of electrical services including domestic and commercial installations, maintenance, fire alarms and emergency lighting, social housing projects, and local authority compliance contracts. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor to join their team based in South East London. The Role
As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor / Contracts Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical works are completed to the highest standards and remain fully compliant with current regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as an additional Qualified Supervisor on the company's NICEIC registration
- Reviewing and verifying electricians' inspection and testing results electronically
- Issuing certification to clients accurately and within required timescales
- Conducting post-inspection audits to ensure completed works meet regulatory and company standards
- Producing post-inspection reports and communicating findings to senior management
- Providing technical support and guidance to engineers in the field
- Supporting annual NICEIC assessments and maintaining compliance documentation
- Delivering toolbox talks and promoting best practice across engineering teams
- Assisting senior management with contract administration and operational support
- Supporting the development, training, and progression of engineers and apprentices
- Participating in staff appraisals and performance reviews
This is predominantly an office-based role with occasional site visits as required.
About You
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong experience within domestic electrical installations and EICRs
- Excellent testing, inspection, and fault-finding skills on LV circuits
- Previous experience within social housing or compliance-focused contracts (desirable)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
