We are seeking experienced and reliable Roofers to carry out repairs, maintenance, and installation works across a range of social housing properties. The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, maintaining high standards of workmanship, and adhering to all health and safety requirements.
Location: Bristol and surrounding areas
Salary: 23 CIS
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out slating and tiling repairs, renewals, and installations.
- Diagnose roofing defects and undertake remedial works.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and colleagues.
- Complete relevant paperwork and job records as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Slater & Tiler.
- Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
- Valid Working at Height Certificate.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
- DBS Check.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
- Must supply and maintain own tools.
- Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods, and safe working practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
