This role will lead the delivery of damp, mould and disrepair services, ensuring cases are managed in line with Awaabs Law, HHSRS requirements and housing legislation. /p p br /p p strong Council | Temporary Contract /strong /p p strong £450 per day (Umbrella) /strong /p p strong 12-Month Contract | 3–4 Days On-Site /strong /p p strong Opportunity to lead a specialist housing compliance team /strong /p p strong Hybrid working with 3–4 days per week on-site /strong /p p strong High-profile role supporting the delivery of a safe and compliant housing service /strong /p p br /p p strong Key Responsibilities /strong /p p br /p ul li Manage and support a team of Damp Mould and Disrepair Surveyors. /li li Lead on complex damp, mould and disrepair cases. /li li Carry out inspections, diagnose defects and specify remedial works. /li li Ensure compliance with Awaabs Law, HHSRS and Council policies. /li li Manage cases through to completion, working with contractors and internal stakeholders. /li li Monitor contractor performance and quality assure completed works. /li li Produce technical reports, schedules of work and performance updates. /li li Provide expert advice to housing, legal and asset management teams. /li /ul p br /p p strong Essential Experience /strong /p p br /p ul li Strong knowledge of damp, mould, condensation, water ingress, ventilation and housing disrepair. /li li Experience diagnosing building defects within social housing or local authority housing. /li li Good understanding of Awaabs Law, HHSRS, Decent Homes Standard and housing legislation. /li li Previous experience managing or supervising surveyors. /li li Experience preparing survey reports, specifications and schedules of work. /li li Proven ability to manage contractors and remedial works programmes. /li /ul p br /p p This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveying professional to lead a specialist housing team within a busy Local Authority environment. /p
