Managing Consultant β Asset Management, Property Services & Compliance
MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced Business Lead - Assets & Compliance on behalf of a Housing Association in Kent to help improve the way they deliver their Assets and Compliance services. This is a 12-month fixed term contract paying Β£57,536 per annum. This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days per week in the office. Working closely with the Head of Business Design, you'll review how the housing association works, identify better ways of doing things, and make sure their systems support efficient, customer-focused services. You'll be a key link between operational teams, project teams, and IT, helping to turn ideas into practical improvements.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and improving business processes.
- Making sure systems such as Civica Cx, Advanced Financials, and Microsoft 365 are being used effectively.
- Working with colleagues to understand current challenges and develop solutions.
- Supporting the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Creating process maps, guidance documents, and business cases.
- Monitoring the benefits of changes and helping improve service performance.
- Supporting teams through change and ensuring improvements become part of day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Experience of improving business processes and delivering change.
- Good understanding of housing services, assets, compliance, and related regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Civica Cx, Advanced Financials, and Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- HNC/HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of contract administration and commercial management principles.

- Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator.

- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience using estimating software is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
