We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to carry out the installation, repair, and replacement of fascia boards, soffits, and roof battens across residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will have a strong background in roofing and external carpentry works, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace fascia boards to support guttering systems and improve roofline integrity.
- Fit and maintain soffit boards, ensuring adequate roof ventilation and weather protection.
- Install, repair, and replace roof battens in preparation for roofing works and roof covering installations.
- Assess roofline and timber structures, identifying defects and recommending appropriate repairs.
- Carry out remedial carpentry works to roof structures where required.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and materials used.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, clients, and site teams.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally within roofing or external property maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of fascia, soffit, and roof batten installation and repair.
- Experience working at height and on roofing structures.
- Ability to interpret work specifications and complete jobs independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own tools and transport.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent.
- Working at Height Certificate.
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
- Manual Handling Certificate.
- DBS Check.
