Position: Media Account Manager (Planning & Buying), fixed‑term contract as maternity cover for up to 12 months (June 2026 – June 2027).
Core responsibilities
- Develop media plans across digital and offline channels.
- Utilise available research, analyse results and produce reports identifying relevant market trends and recommending appropriate campaigns to capitalise on market trends.
- Ensure client KPIs are achieved to client expectations.
- Participate in client presentations, selling and educating new ideas.
- Stay informed of industry trends in leisure and travel and best practices regarding media planning, placement, tracking and reporting.
Media Execution & Campaign Oversight
- Lead ongoing optimisations, monitor spend and KPI pacing and performance daily/weekly as required and apply optimisations as needed.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with media partners to ensure maximum value realised for all campaigns.
- Create and distribute all media RFPs, negotiate, run kick‑off calls with vendors and oversee campaign launch.
- Bill media accurately and on schedule according to client requirements.
- Build and maintain media documents: vendor brief responses, media plan updates, budget splits, timelines, and status trackers.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to brief.
- Assist in reporting, analysis, and surfacing insights.
What we’re looking for
- 3‑5 years media experience with practical media knowledge across at least one of programmatic, social, search or traditional media, with curiosity to learn other channels.
- Strong working knowledge of third‑party tracking and media campaign management tools.
- Strong Excel comfort and confidence when working with datasets.
- Travel industry experience is a plus.
