Job Overview:
Quotient Inside is seeking an AI Product Owner, Product Strategy to bridge product strategy and delivery execution across AI-enabled products, platforms, and capabilities. This role owns the product experience and leads defined product workstreams, translating strategic direction into delivery-ready requirements, prioritized backlogs and delivery plans. The AI Product Owner partners across Product Strategy, Design, Research, Engineering, Enablement, AI Capability & Adoption, and consulting teams to ensure features are grounded in end-user needs, aligned to business priorities, and prepared for successful execution. The role combines structured problem solving, product ownership, stakeholder coordination, and executive communication to move experiences from concept to launch, and to continuously evolve and iterate based on user needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Definition & Initiative Ownership: Own defined products or capabilities from concept through launch, adoption, and continuous iteration. Translate strategic direction and epics into structured product requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success measures. Manage the backlog for assigned products and clarify scope, expected outcomes, dependencies, risks, and decision points for product teams. Maintain accountability for effective feature execution, ensuring product teams receive clear, actionable inputs and direction aligned to leadership and product intent.
- Discovery, User Insight & Problem Framing: Support and co-lead discovery activities such as interviews, workshops, and refinement activities in partnership with Design, Research, Product Strategy, and Product teams. Translate user needs, research findings, practitioner pain points, operational friction, and user feedback into actionable work items. Ability to build high-level mock-ups to support design teams.
- Roadmap, Prioritization & Work Planning: Drive prioritization discussions for assigned epics and features, balancing user value, business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment. Support product team-level roadmap and sprint planning through structured sequencing, dependency mapping, and trade-off analysis. Develop and maintain workplans for assigned features, coordinating timelines, milestones, and deliverables across teams. Monitor progress, feedback, and usage signals to recommend adjustments to scope, assumptions, risks, or priorities.
- Stakeholder Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the primary coordination point for assigned products across Product Strategy, Engineering, Enablement, Design, Research, AI Capability & Adoption, and consulting stakeholders. Build productive relationships across functions, regions, and levels of seniority to align diverse perspectives into coherent plans. Escalate risks and decision points with well-developed recommendations, not just issue identification.
- Business Case Development & Executive Materials: Develop executive-ready materials that support prioritization and leadership alignment. Contribute to business case development for AI-enabled products and capabilities, articulating value, risk, adoption impact, and expected outcomes. Translate complex product and AI concepts into clear narratives for senior audiences.
- Delivery Readiness & Continuous Improvement: Partner closely with product teams to ensure requirements remain clear, current, and actionable as features evolve through refinement. Facilitate product demos and accept stories against acceptance criteria, ensuring delivered functionality aligns with user needs, product intent, and expected value. Support launch readiness, and adoption planning activities for assigned products. Track feedback, usage signals, and lessons learned to identify opportunities for iteration and improvement. Contribute to repeatable product practices, templates, and playbooks that improve how strategy moves into execution and how products are delivered.
Experience Required:
- 4-8 years of experience in product ownership, product management, consulting, strategy, digital delivery, or related fields.
- Experience owning defined products, capabilities, or features from concept through build, launch, adoption, and continuous iteration.
- Experience translating business needs and strategic priorities into structured product requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions, discovery, workshops, feature and backlog refinement, prioritization and planning sessions, and decision-making sessions.
- Experience delivering AI-enabled products, digital platforms, workflow automation, or technology-enabled transformation preferred.
- Experience operating in professional services or similarly complex, matrixed organizations preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Product requirements development and documentation.
- Backlog management, prioritization, and initiative sequencing.
- Roadmap planning, work planning, and dependency tracking.
- Business case development and structured problem solving.
- Executive presentation development and strong PowerPoint capability.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled products, internal platforms, and workflow tools.
Skills and Attributes:
- Product requirements development, feature and story writing, prioritization and sequencing, and backlog management.
- Agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and sprint demos.
- Experience with AI-enabled products, LLM/RAG-enabled workflows, AI output evaluation, and non-deterministic validation preferred.
- Structured problem solver with strong ownership mindset and sound judgment.
- End-user focused and outcome-oriented, with ability to translate user needs, feedback, and usage signals into product enhancements and delivered value.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation written and verbal communication, and executive storytelling skills across functions and levels of seniority.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear requirements, decisions, and action plans.
- Clear written and verbal communicator with strong storytelling capability.
- Comfortable operating independently within defined strategic direction.
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in complex, matrixed environments.
