The Senior Vice President role is a senior broking position focused on per-risk reinsurance within the property risk portfolio. Working closely with clients across European markets, you will be responsible for developing and delivering tailored reinsurance solutions, leveraging deep market expertise and strong relationships across the European property catastrophe, per-risk and wider risk markets. The role also offers exposure to selected retrocession accounts and requires close collaboration with property line teams to identify opportunities and achieve the best outcomes for clients.

  • Build and sustain strategic client relationships across European markets that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Manage and develop broking teams, elevating technical expertise and performance, particularly in property risk and per-risk reinsurance.

  • Collaborate closely with property line teams to align client solutions, market insights and growth opportunities.

What you need to have:

  • Deep expertise in property reinsurance broking, including significant experience in per-risk reinsurance solutions for European clients. Experience working with UK clients or markets is also valued.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with a proven background managing large, complex accounts and high-value clients.
  • Well‑established relationships and strong networking capabilities with treaty underwriters, key market stakeholders and property reinsurance teams.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex, high‑value client relationships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
