An experienced Planning Manager is out there who would relish this fantastic permanent opportunity to join a UK based International Civils Contractor. You will possess significant levels of experience in your planning roles within the construction sector and possess an understanding and demonstrable experience of managing large value high pressured frameworks with your team. This is a unique opportunity to join a company with a long history in the UK civil engineering markets. They operate across many Heavy infrastructure sectors but we are seeking a Planning Manager who has experience in the power sector.

As a team leader you will allow your team to fulfil their potential with your support and guidance. Commercially astute, with a good working and technical understanding of construction contracts. Experience in measurement and reporting of project progress. Essential would be your understanding and proven use of Primavera Planning software. Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation and procedures. IT Literate - Microsoft Word, Excel and Project. Full UK driving licence. Understanding of off-site construction methods. Construction Degree Qualified or Equivalent level.

Your working knowledge will be in all aspects of design, procurement, production and commissioning as a Planning Manager. You will be client facing and will possess highly developed communication skills - both written and oral. As a strong Planning Manager for this client you will establish and maintain the planning schedule on major power projects with your team, developing and operating planning systems. You will build and maintain strategic relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure that all resources for coordination are on board and in line with the project strategy.

As part of your duties you will be responsible for reviewing the planning process and report confidence in project status to management and will work closely with the construction or the pre-construction teams to meet project objectives.
