- Manage the day-to-day running of Department, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
- Develop and improve working practices to support consistency, productivity and service quality.
- Review operational performance, identify areas for improvement and implement practical solutions.
- Recruit, train and support investigators, helping them develop the skills and knowledge required for the role.
- Plan staffing levels and allocate resources to meet operational demands.
- Manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Deliver inductions, training sessions and ongoing coaching to new and existing staff.
- Create a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, accountability and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and support where needed.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies, client requirements and relevant legislation.
- Learn and participate regularly in the visit planning process, processing visit results, invoicing procedures and case management process, all essential to provide resilience in the team and Department and allow for knowledge based supervision.
