Our clients, a long-established hospitality business currently operating 200 franchise stores nationwide, are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join the Head Office Finance Team. This role offers the opportunity to grow and establish a long-term career with an exceptionally stable organisation.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post monthly accruals and prepayments
- Assist with month-end reporting, ensuring the monthly reporting is delivered on time and accurately
- Prepare general ledger journal entries and supporting documentation
- Forecasting income and expenditure
- Assisting with production of cash flow forecast
- Adhoc duties as required
With regards to the skills required for the role:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Sage software
- Part Qualified (ideally not essential)
The company is based in brand new, modern offices in Wembley. The office has a nice team environment and a great culture. The job is office-based, Monday to Friday, 9 am- 6 pm.
Salary: £30-35k per annum (depending on skills and experience)
