Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? M&M Supply, a trusted education agency, is seeking Teaching Assistants to work in a SEN school in Cardiff, supporting pupils ages 11-16 with SEMH needs and severe autism.

About the Role:

  • Providing tailored support to children with additional learning needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
  • Using strategies to support students with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other needs.
  • Encouraging social and emotional development to help students thrive.
  • Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals to create personalised learning plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children within Mainstream + SEN (preferred but not essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to learning support.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply).
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable but not required.
  • Ability to use your intuition, and be flexible around the needs of the individual.
