About Us
At MM Flowers, we’re passionate about delivering beautiful, high-quality flowers to our customers every day. Our team is dynamic, innovative, and committed to excellence in everything we do. We’re now looking for a Studio Manager to join our New Product Development (NPD) team on a 9-month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension), leading the seamless running of our sample production studio.
The Role
As Studio Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the full sample lifecycle – from raw material procurement to final delivery. You’ll manage a small team, ensuring all samples meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time. Working closely with NPD managers, procurement, and wider teams, you’ll keep operations efficient, organised, and aligned with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day studio operations, ensuring smooth sample creation and dispatch.
- Lead, coach, and develop the studio team to achieve high performance.
- Forecast and manage stock, materials, and equipment with minimal wastage.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure samples meet specifications.
- Work cross-functionally to align studio processes with project goals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have:
- Proven experience managing operations or production, ideally within floristry, FMCG, or a creative/design environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills.
- Experience with stock management systems (Rubicon experience desirable).
- A keen eye for quality and detail.
