Production Trainer / Coach – £30,000
Location: MM Flowers Ltd, Pierson Road, The Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, (average 38.5 hours per week, 7am – 7pm)
Shift Option:
Wednesday–Saturday
(2-week cycle – Week one: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday – Week two: Thursday, Friday and Saturday)

In this exciting role, you’ll deliver engaging onboarding, provide structured training on new and updated procedures, and coach colleagues day-to-day to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency are always at the forefront. By role-modelling best practice, you’ll inspire teams to grow, improve, and deliver excellence together.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Trainer/Coach, you’ll:
- Welcome and train all new starters, helping them settle in with engaging onboarding sessions.
- Deliver training on new and updated SOPs, followed up with practical on-the-job coaching.
- Lead by example – coaching operatives, giving constructive feedback, and inspiring high standards.
- Embed best practices into daily routines, ensuring food safety, hygiene, and brand standards never slip.
- Support our busiest times of year by reinforcing quality under pressure.
- Provide valuable insights by spotting gaps between process and practice, helping us continuously improve.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is more than just a trainer – someone who brings energy, positivity, and a passion for people development. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring within an operational or manufacturing environment
- A strong understanding of SOPs, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
- The ability to engage others, give constructive feedback, and motivate teams to achieve high standards
- Excellent organisational skills, with experience maintaining training and coaching records
- Confident communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups
- A full UK driving licence – essential, as you may need to travel between our sites
Bonus points if you also have:
- Experience delivering onboarding programmes that mix classroom and coaching support
- Familiarity with systems/tools to track learning (LMS)
- Experience supporting compliance with training and competency evidence
- Exposure to continuous improvement
