Salary: £32,800 – £33,900 (based on experience) + paid overtime + great benefits

Contract: Permanent | 5 in 7 rota (average 40 hours per week)

At the heart of our glasshouse operation, you’ll lead a team of operatives harvesting top-quality tulips and other blooms using innovative technology – all while creating a positive, safety-first working culture. It’s a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your ideas, leadership and energy really matter.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading and coaching a team of harvest operatives to achieve high performance and great team spirit
  • Ensuring we deliver beautiful blooms that meet the highest customer quality standards
  • Operating and overseeing state-of-the-art equipment like the Bench System and Furora harvesting machinery
  • Driving a proactive health & safety culture across your section
  • Monitoring performance and continuously improving efficiency, standards, and output
  • Keeping the glasshouse environment running smoothly – from pest spotting to top-tier tidiness!

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading teams in an operational, horticultural, or production setting
  • Confident in training, coaching and motivating others
  • A passion for doing things the right way – especially when it comes to health & safety and quality
  • Hands-on attitude – you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked with tulips or horticulture before (but not essential – we’ll show you the ropes)
