We’re looking for an experienced WMS Functional Consultant with strong client-side delivery experience to support the final testing and deployment stages of a Warehouse Management System implementation within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on Infios Warehouse Advantage SME who can provide functional assurance ahead of go-live — ensuring the solution is aligned to real-world operational processes, integrations are robust, and risks are identified before deployment.
The Role
- You will act as the functional authority, strengthening assurance across SIT, UAT, and go-live, ensuring the system performs effectively in live manufacturing operations.
- Act as the Functional SME for Infios Warehouse Advantage.
- Support SIT & UAT, validating real-world operational scenarios.
- Work closely with the PM to keep delivery aligned and focused.
- Review and challenge WMS integrations (ERP, automation, labelling, interfaces).
- Identify functional gaps, edge cases, and deployment risks.
- Provide go-live support and assist during hypercare.
Required Experience
- Proven delivery experience in manufacturing-based WMS projects (Warehouse Advantage highly desirable).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing WMS processes: Inventory control, Production supply, Dispatch.
- Experience supporting testing and deployment phases of WMS programmes.
- Ability to identify integration risks from a functional perspective.
- Confident engaging stakeholders across Operations and IT.
