MM Flowers is looking for a motivated Section Leader to assist the Section Manager in managing daily activities across intake, packaging, or yard areas. You will play a crucial role in leading your team, ensuring smooth workflow, maintaining high standards of health and safety, and driving continuous improvements to meet production targets.
What You'll Do:
- Support smooth and efficient operations within your assigned area, meeting performance targets
- Motivate and develop your team, providing guidance, training, and on-the-job coaching
- Monitor workflow and quickly address any delays to keep production on track
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and GMP standards, conducting regular safety audits
- Act as a key communication link between operatives and management
- Complete accurate records and reports to keep leadership informed
- Identify and implement process improvements alongside the Section Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in warehousing, intake, or packaging roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Good organisational, communication, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in production or warehouse settings
- Desirable: familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and health
