The Junior Florist will support the Studio Manager in the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of floral arrangements, ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards. This role focuses on assisting with day-to-day studio operations, maintaining an organised and creative workspace, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional floral creations that delight customers and elevate the business's reputation. Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain visually stunning floral arrangements that align with design briefs and customer expectations.
  • Contribute ideas during creative discussions to continually improve the offerings of the studio.
  • Support the smooth operation of the studio through effective time management and organisation.
  • Maintain an impeccably clean and well-organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are in good condition.
  • Work closely with the Studio Manager and team to fulfil orders, meet deadlines, and deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Clearly and positively communicate with team members to ensure alignment on daily production schedules and priorities.

  • Assist in creating floral designs for various styles and occasions, from simple bouquets to elaborate arrangements for events.
  • Prepare raw materials, including trimming stems, hydrating flowers, and organising floral supplies for production.
  • Ensure all products meet the required design specifications and quality standards.
  • Carry out regular stock rotation to ensure flowers and foliage are used efficiently and waste is minimised.
  • Assist with receiving and unpacking flower deliveries, checking items against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the studio, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Support the team in preparing orders for delivery or pick-up, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition.
  • Assist in setting up floral installations at events where required, collaborating with the team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to develop floristry skills and improve product knowledge.
  • Keep up to date with floristry trends and techniques to contribute fresh, innovative ideas to the studio’s designs.
