What we expect from you

  • Previous experience in bartending 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Competently use EPOS now till system
  • Qualified in WSET level 2 award in Beer (Not essential)
  • Passionate about Beer and sustainability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great time management
  • Ambition to grow within the company

Responsibilities

  • Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly
  • Provides a welcoming environment to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Opening/closing of the venue
  • Working with management to deliver events and tastings
  • Escalate customer, HR and health & safety issues and concerns to management
  • Report any issues with stock or equipment to management
  • Conduct yourself professionally whilst on Mercato property
  • Financial responsibilities - reporting discrepancies to management
  • Following company procedures and carry out any reasonable request made by management
  • Responsible of Health & Safety at work, including COSHH, and following procedure and training
  • To attend training sessions and tastings when required
