An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Fire Engineer to join the Fire Engineering team within a Multi-disciplinary Consultancy. As a Graduate Fire Engineer, you will collaborate closely with Senior Fire Engineers, and Fire Consultants, contributing to the fire safety design process and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in fire engineering while working on a variety of projects in a supportive and experienced team. The Graduate Fire Engineer’s Role As the Graduate Fire Engineer, you will be part of a growing team, working on fire engineering solutions for the residential sector. * Assist in delivering fire engineering solutions for new-build residential developments. * Support the development of fire strategies, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and industry best practices. * Conduct fire safety assessments and contribute to design reports, risk assessments, and technical guidance. * Assist senior fire engineers in project delivery, attending design meetings and liaising with clients and stakeholders. The Successful Graduate Fire Engineer Will Have * A degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related discipline. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in fire safety and engineering design. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. * Knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and building codes (desirable but not essential). * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
