We’re looking for a Senior Research & Insight Account Executive to join a leading sports and culture-focused agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong grounding in quantitative research, exposure to qualitative methodologies, and a genuine passion for sport, culture and consumer behaviour. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping major brands understand the impact of their sponsorship portfolios, turning audience, cultural and performance data into clear, compelling stories and actionable recommendations. The role offers a broad remit, spanning hands-on research and analysis, client reporting, and a significant contribution to new business pitches.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and delivering quantitative research projects, with some involvement in qualitative work such as interviews and focus groups.
- Analysing data from a variety of sources including surveys, social listening, audience tools and market research.
- Turning complex data into clear narratives and commercially relevant recommendations.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of sponsorships, partnerships and campaigns.
- Building audience and cultural insight packs to inform strategy and creative development.
- Supporting live campaigns with reporting and optimisation recommendations.
- Playing a key role in creating insight-led new business pitches.
- Presenting findings confidently to both internal teams and clients.
About You
You’re naturally curious, analytical and commercially minded. You enjoy digging into data, spotting meaningful patterns and translating your findings into stories that inspire action. You’ll ideally come from a research agency, insight consultancy, or agency-side insight/analytics team.
Experience & Skills Required
- 2–5 years’ experience in a research, insight role.
- Strong quantitative research experience, including survey design and analysis.
- Exposure to qualitative research methods and synthesis.
- Excellent analytical skills and confidence interpreting data.
- Proven ability to turn data into compelling stories and recommendations.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Confident presenter with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Genuine interest in sport, sponsorship, culture and consumer trends.
Desirable Experience
- Sponsorship measurement and evaluation.
- Social listening tools such as Talkwalker or Meltwater.
- Audience profiling tools such as YouGov or GWI.
- Experience contributing to pitch work and new business proposals.
