The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead sponsorship and partnership delivery on a global Formula 1 account, working across the EMEA region. This is a high-profile role for someone who lives and breathes motorsport and has hands-on experience managing complex, multi-market sponsorship and activation programmes.
You’ll be responsible for managing senior client relationships, overseeing activation strategy and execution, and leading a client servicing team to deliver world-class work across race weekends, content, hospitality, events, and integrated marketing programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead EMEA client relationships on a flagship Formula 1 sponsorship account
- Take full accountability for client fees, activation budgets, and commercial reporting
- Oversee and direct the client team across retained and project-based work, including:
- Race weekend planning and delivery
- At-track branding, signage, and asset management
- Merchandise programmes
- At- and off-track events and hospitality
- Social, PR, ambassador and content programmes
- Experiential activations, show cars, gaming rigs and other F1 assets
Required Experience & Skills
- Background in sponsorship (agency-side, client-side, or rights holder)
- Strong understanding of sponsorship activation, integrated campaigns, and experiential marketing
- Excellent project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and evolve activation programmes
- Confident advising senior clients and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets and measuring performance
- Thrives in fast-paced, event-led environments and enjoys being part of a close-knit team
