A banking client is seeking a Principal BCBS-239 consultant with strong Credit Risk Reporting and Risk Data Aggregation experience to lead a key regulatory review. The successful candidate will have proven delivery experience within BCBS-239 programmes, with a strong understanding of credit risk reporting, data lineage, reconciliations & controls across complex banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead credit risk data aggregation and reporting workstreams aligned to BCBS 239 principles
  • Define and validate critical data elements across exposure, PD, LGD and EAD reporting
  • Assess end-to-end data lineage from source systems through to regulatory and management reporting
  • Identify and remediate gaps across data quality, controls, reconciliations and reporting integrity
  • Work across Risk, Finance and Technology teams to improve aggregation and reporting accuracy
  • Support governance, regulatory deliverables and senior stakeholder engagement

Requirements

  • 12–15+ years' experience within banking or financial services
  • Strong background within Credit Risk Reporting, Risk Data or Regulatory Reporting
  • Proven hands-on delivery experience within a BCBS 239 programme
  • Strong understanding of credit risk data flows from origination through to reporting
  • Experience within G-SIB or D-SIB banking environments, or equivalent banking advisory exposure
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior risk, finance and regulatory stakeholders

This role requires a hands-on SME with practical experience delivering risk data and reporting remediation within complex banking environments.
