We’re building a digital, customer-facing business from the ground up - and we’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to own the data and insight behind the customer journey. This isn’t a back‑end reporting job. It’s a chance to shape KPIs, data models and the analytics view of the journey from scratch, in a fast‑moving programme where your work is seen and acted on quickly.
What you’ll do
- You’ll own how we understand the customer journey — from the first touch through acquisition, conversion, drop‑off and retention.
- You’ll bring together campaign, behavioural and transactional data to answer the questions that move the business: where are we losing customers, what’s actually working in our marketing, and where’s the next opportunity?
- Map and analyse the customer journey and funnel — acquisition, conversion, drop‑off and retention.
- Use digital tracking and tagging tools (GA4, Tealium or similar) to capture and structure the data behind the journey.
- Build dashboards and reporting in Power BI, and help define the KPIs and data models from a blank page.
- Connect campaign, behavioural and transactional data into a single, joined‑up picture.
- Work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with product, pricing, growth and marketing — representing the BI function in your own right.
- Bring energy and curiosity to discovery: ask sharp questions, challenge assumptions, and help drive discussions forward.
What we’re looking for
- A track record in customer journey and funnel analysis — acquisition, conversion, drop‑off, retention.
- Hands‑on experience with digital tracking and tagging (GA4, Tealium or similar).
- Experience connecting campaign, behavioural and transactional data.
- Solid Power BI skills (SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Python/R all a plus).
- Comfort in a greenfield, build‑it‑yourself environment.
- Strong digital and customer‑journey analytics from e‑commerce or another customer‑facing setting ideally in a regulated environment.
Why this role
You’ll join early, with real scope to shape how things are done rather than inherit someone else’s stack. The wider programme already has strong workstream leadership in place — this role stands on its own as the BI voice in the room.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk. Apply now or reach out for a confidential conversation.
