We are looking for an Electrician with experience in Telecoms or Industrial Sector to join a fast-paced, collaborative family company specializing in installation and commissioning of Power Supply equipment for various operators. The role involves working with climbing teams, commissioners, civils to upgrade mobile networks.
You will be part of a skilled team that prides itself on quality work and business growth, which is why they need an additional team member.
Payment is door to door, starting from the moment you sit in your vehicle.
Pay rate: £18-19/hour, with a 50-hour week resulting in a salary of approximately £46,800 to £49,400.
Most work is within an hour of Stockport/Wolverhampton, with occasional opportunities to work away on special projects.
Requirements include experience with AC and DC systems in the Mobile Telecommunications industry, site certifications (Working at Height, RF awareness, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling), and relevant electrical qualifications.
Your responsibilities include electrical installation work (compliant with BS7671), inspection and testing, site surveys, documentation, and assisting on-site roles as needed, all while maintaining health & safety standards.
You should understand BS 7671 regulations, inspection, testing, verification, and certification procedures, hold Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent, and have a current BS7671 requirements knowledge. Basic computer skills are also required.
Additional requirements include a full driving license, willingness to work away from home, and flexibility for occasional weekend work.
